Baripada: A district-level ten-day “Arogya-Mitra Training Camp” organized for newly recruited “Arogya Mitras” under the public health “Arogya Bharat” scheme of the Government of India was held on Sunday at the local “Sagar Palace” conference room. It has been reported that a large number of campers from different parts of the district took part in it. BJP state spokesperson and writer Kavivishnu Shetpathi joined the chief guest at the event organized by “Climate Protection Council” and “Jagannath Education Trust” and advised the new “Arogya-Mitras” trained to “work with service attitude and authenticity”. “Jagannath Trust” Chairman Pratap Chandra Mahakud presided over and delivered the welcome speech. Shashi Bhushan Sethi of “Climate Protection Council”, yoga teacher Debraj Sahu, who is assisting in the management of “Arogya Mitra Camp” among others were present as chief guests of honour. The speakers of the educational program hoped that Karyamitras would help in the delivery of proper and streamlined health care in rural areas in the coming days.
