The Annual Sports Festival of PM Sri National High School was successfully organized in a joyful and grand atmosphere. The Udan meeting organized on this occasion was presided over by the principal of the school, Mr. Golap Chandra Sahu, while the chief guest was the district sports officer, Mr. Rajendra Kumar Makanlei. District Cricket Association Editor Mr. Saroj Kumar Sahu was the chief guest and Gosti Education Officer Ms. Geeta Queen Joshi was present as the chief speaker and expressed the view that all-round development of students is possible through the integration of sports and education. School Chairman Mr. Kunj Bihari Sahu joined as the guest of honor and emphasized on developing discipline, tolerance and leadership qualities through sports. Under the leadership of Chief Minister’s award winning sports teacher Shri Mohan Mahant, all the teachers and students conducted the various sports competitions smoothly and well. The inaugural session was coordinated by teacher Anita Mundu, while senior teacher Mr. Sukant Shatpathi proposed the vote of thanks. In the same way, Additional District Education Officer Dr. Reshmlal Naik was the chief guest while Mr. Binod Padhi, President of Madhyamik Teachers Association was present as the keynote speaker. Panch Sakha Shikshan Setu President Mr. Prakash Sahu and Mr. Kanhu Charan Lenka joined as distinguished guests and honored the students by giving away certificates and trophies. Cultural Officer Mr. Jitendra Kumar Khamari and Someshree Vaughel coordinated the work of the assembly smoothly, while the teacher Mrs. Renuka Duriya announced the end of the assembly after giving vote of thanks.
