Malkangiri 23/1-Odisha Union of Journalists State Secretary Devprasad Das has been felicitated by Balimela Presclub. In this context a friendly program was held at Balimela Town Hall. Debaprasad Das, State Editor and President of Malkangari Union of Journalists, officiated at the event. MUJ General Editor Sharat Chandra Maharana, Co-Editor Asim Viswan, Malkangiri Block President Shivprasad Kirtanya, Balimela Mayor Pradeep Kumar Naik, Balimela Press Club President Rabirashmi Guru and State Working Member Yadupati Mohanty were the main speakers. On this occasion, Mr. Das, the State Secretary, was felicitated by the Bali Mela Press Club by giving him a bouquet of flowers. The new member Banda expressed his opinion that we have accepted the membership of this oldest union. Senior journalists Shiv Dutt Sahu, Vijay Das, Sushant Maharana and Pradeep Kumar Naik accepted the membership of MUJ. The new members were welcomed with flowers and garlands by MU President and other members Banda. Shiv Dutt Sahu, Manojdev Pangi as editor, Jadupati Mohanty as editor of Bali Mela Press Club and Rakesh Kumar Kuldeep as treasurer were unanimously elected. Union member B. Arun Pange gave the vote of thanks. The program was attended by more than 50 journalists from Malkangiri, Kalimela, Chittagong, Mathil, Govindpalli, Khairput and Balimela.
