Baripada – Ta :- 25/01/2026 Rikh A preparatory meeting has been held on the occasion of the 39th Mahashivratri in the premises of Badeshwar Mahadev Temple in Taktpur, I In the meeting held under the chairmanship of the President of the Temple Management Committee Somnath Singh, the temple trustee and worshiper Srinivas Prasad, Editor Balaram Nath, Vice President Dr. Niroj Kumar Pothal and Sujit Kumar Sahu, Advisor Dr. Asim Kumar Chakraborty, Office Editor Gadadhar Bhadra, Treasurer Sushmita Prasad, Joint Editor Ambika Mahant, Women’s Organization Editor Prith Rani Dhal, Coordinator Chandrakant Behera, Senior Members Himanshu Shekhar Praharaj, Gaurdas Giri, Ajit Das, Atal Mahant, Kanita Queen Sur were the prominent attendees and expressed their thoughtful views on the celebration of Mahashivratri on February 14th this year. After starting at 3:21 am, the program will be held at 1:15 pm and on the occasion of Mahashivratri on the 15th, Baba’s worship will begin at 3:21 am and at 4:17 pm, the lighting of the Guru Jagar lamp will begin and at 5:15 am on the 16th, the worshiper Shri Prasad announced that the Mahadeep will be raised on the 16th. Around 2000 devotees lit the Jagar lamp and distributed food prasad to over 5000 devotees.
