Kandhamal, (Fast News Odisha): 2 more people have been arrested in the much-discussed incident of Belghar elephant death in Kandhamal district. Forest department has arrested JCB driver Prashant Sahu and hunter Jaya Mangal Pan of Jhiripani village. Wires and a country gun have been seized from Jaymangal’s house. The story of the Belghar elephant’s death by trampling was in full swing in the entire state. After the incident came to light, Belgarh deputy ranger Vinay Kumar Bishi was first suspended and his driver Harishikesh Panda was arrested and charged, while ACOF suspended Suryakant Behera yesterday due to negligence in the investigation and arrested JCB driver Prashant Sahu and a hunter Jaymangal Pan from Jiripani village in connection with the incident.
