The general meeting of the Nuapada District Journalists Association was held at Shanti Garden near Road Jonk River in Nuapada District Kharia. In this meeting organized under the chairmanship of the association president Suresh Achari, the editor of the association Dekhananda Tandi highlighted the activities of the association in the past and the upcoming events. Especially as it was decided to hold the state level meeting in the month of April, the selection of the new executive committee was discussed in June to July. As there is a need for an office or rest room for the journalist in the district headquarters, it was highlighted how it will be arranged and the construction of a new building of the association was discussed. Along with this, social awareness work like health camp, blood donation camp, journalist training camp has been decided to be held every three months. Loknath Mohapatra, Surendra Tiwari, Amit Purohit, Satish Joshi, Heramba Meher, Raj Kiran Singh Deo, Mohanlal Deep, Samb Saraf, Suresh Jaksena, Abhishek Achari, Chandra Behera, Vishudhar Banor, Vishwanath Samal and Genjlal Sahu were prominently present in this general meeting.
