Raghunathpur: Prize distribution ceremony of general knowledge and drawing competition of Junior A sub junior group among all schools of Baripada block was organized in grand adumbr at Purnachandra Public School, Raghunathpur, Mayurbhanj district. The event was held in an atmosphere of excitement and joy. Renowned educationist Dr. Sameer Ranjan Pradhan attended the function as the chief guest. Chairman of Poorchandra Group of Institutions as the main speaker. Prabhas Kumar Das was present. Special Guest Editor Mr. Prashant Kumar Das, Honorable guests included Mrs. Anita Barik, Principal of Poorchandra Higher Secondary School, Mrs. Lipika Das, Principal of Poorchandra Public School, Mr. Sanankar Mahanth, Principal of Poorchandra Adams Vidya Temple and Academic Bursar Dr. Adams Satpathi were present. At the beginning of the program, flowers were offered at the feet of Lord Jagannath and lamps were lit. Later the guests were informed about the vision and mission of the school. The aim of the school was said to be to create better citizens through holistic development of students, moral values and modern education system. The Chief Guest, Dr. Pradhan, in his address advised the students on the importance of discipline, hard work and self-confidence. Chairman Engr. Prabhas Kumar Das gave an inspiring speech on the importance of education and future goals. In the next phase, awards and certificates were given to students who excelled in education, sports and co-curricular activities.
