Jharsuguda, 7.3 (Fast News Odisha) Jharsuguda Police has achieved a great success through ‘Operation Netra’. The police arrested 9 accused after cracking down on the robbery incident in Talmunda village under Lykera police station. A large amount of gold and silver jewellery, cash and a bolero belt were seized from them. The robbery took place in the Talmunda area on the 3rd of last night. Taking the incident seriously, the Jharsuguda police formed a special team and started the investigation. The police have identified the accused with the help of CCTV footage and cyber cell. The accused are Deepak Khadiya (25), Ashok Khadiya (20), Akash Sahu (24), Ajay Munda (19), Dhananjay Khadiya (47), Bablu Barabhaya (22) and Bhola Naik (25) of Rengali-Lykera area, Vasiva Oram (27) and Viswajit of Rengali-Lykera area. Pasayat (27). Multiple gold chains, manlassutras, earrings, socks and silver ornaments were seized from the accused. Along with this, the police also seized Rs 1,43,803 in cash, 8 mobile phones, an old rupee coin of 1916, a knife, a baseball bat and a bolero (OR-15-S-3543) used in the robbery. According to senior police officials, criminals are being closely monitored through “Operation Netra” and police are on alert to maintain law and order in the area. While the arrested accused have been arraigned, further investigation is going on whether anyone else is involved in the case.
