Jharsuguda, 8.3 (Fast News Odisha): The 44th anniversary of Jharsuguda Women’s College has been celebrated in a grand ceremony. Jharsuguda MLA Tankhar Tripathi joined as the guest of honor and promised to solve the long-standing land problem of the college as soon as possible and said that Jharsuguda district will play a leading role in the field of education in the coming days. Vidhubushan Mishra discussed the impact of modern science and technology on the students’ studies and advised the youth of today to keep the cultural traditions alive by engaging with the mother earth. In the beginning of the meeting, the greeting message of the Hon’ble Minister for Revenue and Revenue Management Mr. Suresh Pujari was read to the college. The details were read out by Mrs. Kalyani Mishra, Head of the Orthodox Department, who conducted the meeting. A colorful cultural program was organized under the supervision of Cultural Management Officer Dr. Jayshree Mishra and the students performed the play Randipuu Ananta. Winners were awarded in various competitions held in the college. In the end, Mr. Neerut Rath, the Orthodox Lecturer gave vote of thanks. All the faculty members, faculty and staff members of the college participated in this program.
