District Magistrate’s Grievance Hearing Camp has been held in Komna Block of Nuapada District. District Magistrate Madhusudan Das, Bankhand Officer Khadyal, Aziz Khan, Bankhand Officer (Kendusalay) K Madhabilata, District Chief Development Officer Lambodar Dharua, Deputy District Magistrate Surmi Soren, Additional Security Inspector Ranjit Naik, District Chief Medical Officer Dr. Dhaneshwar Sethi, Komna Block Chairperson have been held in this complaint camp. Anusuya Kuphar, Vice President Jaydev Pradhan, Zone 1 District Council member Murali Bhoi were prominently present. The District Commissioner heard 54 individual and 12 group complaints in the camp. He directed the concerned district level officials to take immediate action on all the complaints. Similarly, 2 destitute persons were given immediate assistance of Rs.10,000 from the Red Cross Fund. On this occasion, individual forest rights recognition titles and 2 group forest rights recognition titles were distributed to 28 beneficiaries. BDO Sahalvi Kumar Samal, Tehsildar Sarveswar Jal, Deputy Collector Chinmay Sagar assisted in the management of the major camp. In the meeting, all district level officers, engineers of various departments, line department officers and block level officers and employees and various media representatives were prominently present. A health camp and an age treatment camp were organized for senior citizens in the block area while the complaint hearing camp was available. After the hearing of the complaint, the District Magistrate told reporters that the hearing of the complaint is a continuous process. Some individual and collective complaints were received today and the concerned officials have been directed to address them promptly. He also called upon everyone to submit their complaints online. On the occasion, programs on Migrant Workers Awareness Camp, Tree for Girl Child, Fetus Day and Plastic Free Campaign were organized at Bhurkadhoda village of Samarsingh Gram Panchayat.
