District Magistrate’s Complaint Hearing Camp has been held in Nuapada District Khadyal Block. District Magistrate Madhusudan Das, Khadyal Bankhand Officer Aziz Khan, Deputy District Magistrate Surmi Soren, District Chief Medical Officer Dr. Dhaneshwar Sethi, Khadiyal Retreat Committee Chairperson Pushpanjali Nand, District Council Member Malywant Suna, SDPO Upendra Pradhan were present in the camp today. The district magistrate heard 81 individual and 9 group complaints. He directed the concerned district level officials to take immediate action on all the complaints. Similarly, 10,000 rupees each from the Red Cross Fund was given immediate assistance to 2 needy persons. In the camp, the villagers demanded the status of Samadpadar village as a revenue village to the District Collector. The District Collector directed the concerned officials to take appropriate action on the matter. BDO Milane Kumar Jhankar, Tehsildar Narsingh Gadba, Khadial NAC Executive Officer Swatchan Ketan Maharna, Deputy Collector Chinmay Sagar, Lalatendu Jaksena contributed to the major camp management. In the meeting, all district level officers, engineers of various departments, line department officers and block level officers and employees and various media representatives were prominently present. A health camp and an age treatment camp were organized for senior citizens in the block area while the complaint hearing camp was available. After the complaint hearing, the District Magistrate told reporters that through such camps, the administration solves the problems of the common people and their trust is lost. Officers are being instructed to work seriously on the complaints of the people in the complaint hearing camp. Otherwise, action will be taken for disobeying the law, the District Magistrate warned. He also called upon all to submit their complaints online. On this occasion, programs on Migrant Worker Awareness Camp, Tree for Girl Child, Fetus Day and Plastic Free New Cloth Campaign were held in Kendupati Gram Panchayat. A medical camp named “Day for Animals” was also organized for pets by Animal Husbandry Department.
