Malgiya, 14/02 : A public relations camp was held by 10 Battalion BSF Javanese in the playground of Regional Higher Secondary School in Malkangari District Malgiya Block Sadar Mahkuma. On this occasion, a free health camp was organized and more than 500 people were provided health care. In tribal dominated areas like Maliya, people are called upon to join the mainstream and play a sense of brotherhood. For the past few years, the BSF jawans have been able to maintain peace and order by maintaining good relations with the people in different areas of Malkangiri district. It has been said that good relations between the local people and the jawans have been made possible due to the cooperative spirit of the leaders. In this program, the villagers will be trained in self-defense techniques and they will stay away from Maoist ideology and be involved in the development of the region. Each village committee has been called upon by senior BSF officers and police to look after the education, health and nutrition of the children in their respective villages and create a good atmosphere. In this program, awareness was created about maintaining good relations with the police, reconciliation of family ties, child marriage. BSF distributed blankets, school bags, volleyballs, nets and other materials on this occasion. More than 2,000 people from the local area, including BSF Second In-charge Atul Jadav, Madiya Police Station Officer Satish Kumar, Madiya Block Chairman Kalyan Bham, Madiya Regional Higher Secondary School Chairman Parmanand Mahapatra, Block Assistant Engineer Bishnu Mahapatra, SI Nirod Kumar Bagh were present.
