Baripada – 08/02/26 All preparations have been completed for the 2nd annual national day and night Gochai Cup cricket tournament to be held at the local Tussichura Durga Puja ground at the Friends Union and Sridurga Sporting Club respectively, said Soumya Ranjan Mishra, the president of the organizing committee, in a press conference. General Editor Gadhar Naik revealed that 10 participants will be held in this tournament.Each team will have one state level and one national level nominated player.The tournament will be inaugurated on the evening of 15th through a colorful program and a match will be held. Hero bike for the series, bicycle for the man of the match (final), washing machine for the best batsman, fridge for the best bowler and other attractive prizes, said the committee. President Soumaryanjan Mishra has expressed his opinion that it can be done. Media Coordinator Gautam Das delivered the welcome address while Media Coordinator Somnath Singh gave vote of thanks. Among others, Committee Vice President Ratikanta Das, Organizational Editor Saroj Shetpathi, Chief Coordinator Sudhanan Pan, Treasurer Shrikant Barik, Co-Treasurer Sandeep Pankaj and Commentator K Panka Mahakud were present.
