Malkangiri, 20/3/26: A commendable step has been taken by the Malkangiri district administration to make the administration more efficient, transparent and people-oriented through the use of modern technology. A one-day workshop on the application of AI tools for administrative excellence has been held in the conference room of the District Council under the direct inspiration and supervision of District Collector Arvind Rajashirke. The workshop had a detailed discussion on how artificial intelligence can make government’s day-to-day operations easier and error-free. Additional District Administrator Somnath Pradhan, Chief Development Officer of District Council Dashrathi Sarabu and Deputy District Collector Duryodhan Bhoi were present and expressed the view that people’s problems can be solved quickly by applying AI. Experts from Electronics and Information Technology Department of Odisha Government trained the senior officers of the district. Senior Developer Sambit Shudashish Sahu and Junior Developer Samesh Kumar Mohanty from OKAC Center, Bhubaneswar demonstrated the practical aspects of the AI tool. District e-Governance Manager Subhash Patnaik conducted the program smoothly. This is an important step to bring the administrative services of the district to the people. From the preparation of government files to data collection and analysis, the district mayor expressed hope that the use of AI will save time and improve work efficiency. All the departmental officers and staff of the district have actively participated in this workshop and are determined to adopt the technology.
