Baliguda, (Fast News Odisha): An interesting match between FC Sambalpur and Dosti Brother Sundergarh was held on the third day and the first semi-final game of the state-level football championship-2026 at the local Biju Patnaik mini stadium at the Upkhand Sports Association in Kandhamal district Baliguda. The Sambalpur team won the trophy in the state level football tournament organized in 2019. Senior sportsperson Gopbandhu Sahu, Dr. Bichitra Nand Acharya, Raj Kishore Das, Adviser Sheikh Sadiq, Vice President Satya Narayan Padhi, Editor Sushant Kumar Das were present and officially opened the game by lighting the Deep Doom and opening the game by blowing the first shot. Sambalpur team player Mahadev Oram was announced as the man of the match. Sunil Kumar Behera, Shambhu Nath Mallik and Kamaksha Prasad were the chief guests and conducted the game l 7th 4th day 3rd quarter final match between USC team – Bargarh, FPSA team – Jatni interesting match will be held l This state level match is being organized till 11th of this month in which among the selected football teams of the state Sambalpur FC, Diamond Club Khurda, Dosti Brother Sundergarh, Popular Club- Dhenkanal, USC Team- Bargarh, FPSA Team- Jatni, Jaga United- Bhubaneswar, J.D. Various teams such as club-football have agreed to participate. Among them, the most attractive women’s football match will be held between Bargarh and Bhubaneswar on the 10th. There are plans to attend the final and graduation ceremony on the 11th. Every day’s match is at 2:30 pm. The semi-final and final match is scheduled to start at 2 pm.
