Kandhamal, (Fast News Odisha): An interesting match was held between Dosti Brother Sundargarh and Popular Club-Dhenkanal on the second day and second quarter final game of the state level football championship-2026 at the local Biju Patnaik mini stadium in Upakhand Sports Association, Baliguda, Kandhamal district. The Sundargarh team won by 1-0. Sports officer Sameer Kumar Naik, senior sportsperson Mutunjay Pradhan, young lawyer B. Srikanth, Satafgarhi Sridhar Pal of Santhi Restaurant, Advisor Sheikh Sadiq, Vice President Satya Narayan Padhi, Editor Sushant Kumar Das Makar were present and officially opened the game with the first shot by lighting Deep Doom l In which Sundergarh player Asha Kerantaketa was announced as Man of the Match l As the Chief Referee for the second quarter final game Jeetendra Swaymen, Shashank Pradhan, Shambhu Nath Mallik and Kamaksha Prasad Pradhan were present and conducted the game l On 6th the first semi-final match of the third day will be an interesting match between FC Sambalpur and Dosti Brother Sundergarh l This state level match is being organized till 11th of this month in which among the selected football teams of the state Sambalpur FC, Diamond Club Khurda, Dosti Brother Sundergarh, Popular Club – Dhenkanal, USC Team – Bargarh, FPSA Team – Jatni, Jagga United – Bhubaneswar, J.D. Various teams such as club-football have agreed to participate. Among them, the most attractive women’s football match will be held between Bargarh and Bhubaneswar on the 10th. There are plans to attend the final and graduation ceremony on the 11th. Every day’s match is at 2:30 pm. The semi-final and final match is scheduled to start at 2 pm.
