Malkangiri, 23/03/2026: With the aim of speedy resolution of public complaints and bringing government services closer to the people, a district-level joint grievance hearing camp was held today in the premises of Kamarpalli Gram Panchayat in Mathil Block. In this review camp, Malkangari District Magistrate Arvind Rajashirke heard the complaints of the common people while Security Superintendent Vinod Patil H. And senior officials of various departments including Bankhand officer Sai Kiran attended and directly discussed with the stakeholders. A total of 80 complaint letters were received in the camp. Of these, 50 were communal or rural problems, while 28 were individual problems. The District Governor has given strict instructions to the departmental officers to solve the problems immediately and complete the rest of the applications within a certain time frame. Financial assistance has been provided to 2 critical beneficiaries from the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund. In the camp, the residents presented their demands mainly on basic issues like land dispute, ration card issue, old age allowance, drinking water crisis and transport. Such efforts of the administration benefit the villagers living in remote areas and make successful implementation of government schemes possible.
