Nuapada: A ‘Go Seva’ program was organized by Hanuman Janutsava Samiti (Sri Ram Nagar) at Chalmunda Goshala and Sri Sri Krishna Goshala, Junk River. In this program, the cattle were given watermelon, gourd, banana, fruit, banana, etc. All the members of the association participated in this program. The program will include morning prayers followed by Bhandar (communal feast) at 1:00 pm. In the evening, a bhajan evening (devotional music) is performed by a bhajan group from Balangir, Belpada, followed by Bhandar. During the Bhajan evening, awards will be presented to many prominent personalities of the city. Hanuman Janutsava Samiti is a socio-cultural organization that collectively celebrates almost all the festivals associated with Hinduism. The committee’s activities include planting trees during rainy season, providing drinking water to cows during summer season, celebrating Hindu New Year, Ram Temple Inauguration Festival (holy festival of the temple) and providing drinking water during various community festivals organized across the city.
