Malkangiri, 31/3/26: An important virtual meeting has been held today under the chairmanship of Malkangiri District Collector, Arvind Rajashirke. In this meeting, there was a detailed discussion about the preparation of the special census amendment and census-2027 program to be started in the coming days. On this occasion, the District Collector had a direct discussion with all the District Development Officers, Tehsildars, Executive Officers of Malkangiri Municipality and Executive Officers of Balimela NAC. The District Governor has given strict instructions to all the officials on how these two important programs can be successfully managed and completed at the grass root level. In particular, it is recommended to focus on error-free and accurate data collection in census work. Additional District Collectors, Sub-District Collectors and other departmental officials were present in this informal meeting and gave their opinions.
