
Malkangari, 1/4/26: Malkangari district administration has shown urgency to complete the upcoming census 2027. District Collector Anthash Arvind Rajshirke has flagged off the Census Rath-2027 from the district office premises. People will be informed about the process of house enumeration and census through this train. The current census will be conducted in two phases. Through digital self-enumeration, citizens can submit their data online using the se.census.gov.in portal between April 1 and 15. For field-level enumeration, enumerators will go door-to-door and collect data through 33 questions from April 16 to May 15. 1,279 enumerators and 222 observers have been engaged in the district for this massive task. Self-enumeration from April 1st to April 15th and real house-to-house census for these thirty days from April 17th to May 15th. Census will be held next February 2027. District Census Officer Vedabar Pradhan, Chief Development Officer Dasharathi Sarabu, Sub-District Officer Duryodhan Bhoi, Deputy Census Officer Muna Turuk and Central Incharge Akshay Mudgal were prominently present during the launch of the Rath. As this information is important for the future planning of the country and the state, the district magistrate requested the public to cooperate with the administration by providing correct information.
