
Malkangiri, 2/4/26: The state government is celebrating the Orphanage from April 1 to 14 for the propagation of Orphan language, literature and culture. On this occasion, Nutrition-15 and Health Awareness Program has been successfully organized by the Malkangiri District Administration in the courtyard of MV-7 Jagannathpally High School. District Chief Medical Officer Dr. Dolamani attended the program as the chief guest. Additional District Chief Medical Officer Dr. M.M. Abid Hussain, District Education Officer Chittaranjan Manigarahi, District Program Manager Mausumi Mishra, Food Safety Officer Prabhas Kumar Sethi, Dr. D.P. Raj, Group Development Officer Tapan Kumar Captain and PO Indira Pradhan were present and guided the students and parents. The guests discussed in detail the importance of nutrition, the problems caused by malnutrition and the benefits of eating a healthy diet. Along with this, emphasis was placed on food security and proper lifestyle for a healthy body. School Principal A. Elohim Rao thanked all the guests and participants. In the coming days, the administration informed that more and more meetings and programs will be organized in different places of the district to create awareness among students, parents and local public about nutrition.
