Malkangiri, 4/4/26: Malkangari District Magistrate Angash Arvind Rajashirke today reviewed the work of high-level bridge under construction near Kanyashram near Kali Mela. During the field visit, the District Collector reviewed the progress of the project and emphasized on completing the work within the stipulated time frame. The District Magistrate has directed to complete at least one pile work and one pier cap work by next April-2026. In addition, he has given a deadline to the contractor and departmental officials to complete the entire bridge construction work by December-2026. He advised to maintain better coordination among all departmental officers to speed up the work. It is expected that the construction of this bridge will facilitate the movement of the people of the region and bring about a big change in the communication sector.
