
Malkangiri, 5/4/26: The administration’s sensitivity to public concerns has set a good example. Taking the problem of drinking water in Satiguda area seriously, the District Collector Arvind Rajshirke directed the Rural Drinking Water Supply Department to solve it immediately. A happy atmosphere has been seen in the local area for this humane and visionary initiative of the District Collector. The department worked on wartime basis under the direct supervision of District Council Chief Development Officer and Executive Officer Dasharathi Sarabu. 10 stand posts have been installed to alleviate the water shortages of the villagers. According to Inspector Janak Balwant Roy, five stand posts have been successfully dewatered today. By tomorrow, all preparations have been completed to reach all 10 posts. PhD Junior Engineer Ram Pradhan and AI Roman Kishan were present and worked for the benefit of the people. The people of Satiguda expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the District Magistrate and all the officials of the concerned departments for such a fast and positive working style of the administration.
