Baripada – Date:- 08/04/2026 Rikh local Martyr Memorial Building Durya-Saraswati Cultural Council and Sokhin Artist Club Anukuli 3-day Maeda Beeori festival – 2026 has been inaugurated. The chief coordinator of the council, Kshirod Bihari Sit, attended the opening meeting as a guest. Ashok Besah and Educationist Kishore Kumar Besah, Educationist Prof. Mohit Kumar Shadangi, Mayor Krishnananda Mohanty wished the success of the festival and praised the organizers for giving opportunities to young artists and directors in the plays staged on the occasion. Directed by Guhiram Jena, Prasanna Kumar Mohanty, Saroj Kumar Shetpathi, Ghanshyam Kar, Himanshu Sahu, Jyotiraj Sethi and Kartik Chandra Behera acted in the play “Maha Vivrat” directed by Guhiram Jena, while Loverjit Sahu and Dharamjit Mohapatra assisted in the stage management. Abinash, Siddharth, Jyotish Shankar and Kakoli performed.Odishi dance by Chinmay Shejpada, music by Saranya Sahu, Monalisa Sethi and Adyasha Gajendra Mahapatra and dance by Kuni artistes of No-1 Dance Academy were very interesting.
