District Magistrate and District Election Officer Madhusudan Das felicitated the officials who conducted the Nuapada Legislative Assembly-71 by-election-2025 successfully in a special program organized at the local Sadbhavna assembly hall today. On the occasion, the District Collector lauded the important role of every officer involved in the election management. He said that their contribution in conducting transparent, free and fair elections was very memorable. The District Governor also recalled the various challenges faced during the elections and noted that the district administration was able to win the best election awards at the state and national level due to the teamwork and tireless efforts of all. In his message, the District Collector said that the other name of administration is dynamism and sensitivity. In this regard, he expressed his sincere wishes, good luck and appreciation for their dedicated efforts, team spirit, sincere voluntary contribution and hard work day and night in the recently concluded 71-Nuapada Assembly Constituency by-election-2025 in Nuapada district. He further said that despite the difficult situation, everyone’s efforts were vital in ensuring smooth, free, fair and impartial elections with peace and order in the district. He expressed the hope that all of them will continue this passion, ethics and commitment to set new standards in the performance of government duties in the coming service life. The meeting was attended by Additional District Collector Subash Chandra Rait, Deputy District Collector Surmi Soren, District Council Additional Executive Officer Mahanidhi Bhoi, Deputy District Collector (Election) S.K. Naseem along with other district level officials were present. It is worth mentioning here that the Nuapada district administration has won an award from Hon’ble President Draupadi Murmu at the national level and has also been honored at the state level for the best performance in election management.
