Malkangir, 6.5: The district general council meeting has been held at the Malkangiri District Utah Press Association office. District Union President Ashok Mishra presided over the meeting, District Union Editor B Srinivas Pan, Vice President Prashant Kumar Sahu, Cosadhaksha Harishikesh Shetty were the main speakers. The program was conducted by Bhagwan Sahu, office secretary of the association. On this occasion, various important issues of the association were discussed. In particular, there was a discussion with the district chairperson about starting the new house work of the union at the block level, and doing social and service work. It was decided in the meeting to go to one block every month to discuss with the local members and discuss the problems of the local area with the officials to keep the union strong with special emphasis on building a permanent office of the district union soon. The district president and all the members of the district president and all the members expressed in one voice that while the District Utah Press Association has been doing many social service works before, it will fulfill its responsibility towards the society with journalism. President Mr. Mishra expressed that such service of the union is not good for many people of the community as they are conspiring against the union, they will be given a fair response in the coming days. However, in the coming days, he advised everyone to help the needy, bring the problems of the people to the attention of the government and continue to struggle with their pen until it is solved. Around 50 members along with all block presidents and workers of the district were present in this meeting and expressed their opinion.
