At Saliha Sevashram located in Saliha Gram Panchayat under Nuapada block, awareness camp about POCSO Act under ‘Safe Childhood, Safe Future’ campaign under NALSA awareness scheme, various legal services provided by State Legal Services Authority, online application process on LSMS web portal of National Legal Services Authority (NALSA) has been held in association with District Legal Services Authority NALSA toll free helpline number 15100. District Legal Services Authority Secretary Navnita Das, Saliha Sarpanch Shambhu Lal Sahu, Sevashram Chairman Annapurna Sahu, PEO Sahalvi Mohan Sahu, Asha Karmi, Anganbadi worker, MBK, School teachers, students and rights friends were present in this camp. He discussed in detail the various legal services being provided, the online application process on the NALSA web portal and the POCSO Act under the ‘Safe Childhood, Safe Future’ campaign under the NALSA awareness scheme. On this occasion, the Secretary of the Authority Navnita Das highlighted the working style of the District Legal Services Authority and the various free legal services available to the POCSO victims and the Odisha Victims Assistance Scheme. After the awareness program, a plastic waste cleaning campaign was organized and around 253 kilos of plastic waste was cleaned.
