In this meeting, he directed the medical officer health department staff and other department staff to conduct malaria blood test and full treatment to all fever patients as soon as possible. He asked to use mosquito nets while sleeping and go door to door to alert people. District Chief Medical and Public Health Officer Da Dhanuryaya Mahanth Sarkar gave a detailed discussion on malaria blood test, distribution of Ausman cards, anemia test and non-communicable diseases in each panchayat. In addition to this, he ordered all the medical officers that the health workers of the health center and the aspiring mosquito workers would go from house to house every evening explaining the importance of using mosquito nets and monitor whether they are using mosquito nets, and the mobile health team should conduct monthly surveys and fever surveys in malaria prone villages and ask them to provide full treatment if malaria is detected. Mr. Tapan Kumar Sahu, District Vector External Disease Consultant gave detailed information on the activities of Malaria Month and discussed how malaria can be controlled. Additional District Public Health Officer (VBD) Dr. Vijay Kumar Das stressed the importance of everyone working together to control malaria in Mayurbhanj district. Superintendent Pandit Raghunath Murmu College Dr Ritanjali Behera Additional District Public Health Officer Da Subas Naik, District Chief Medical Officer Da Shashikant Sethi, Additional District Public Health Officer (Leprosy) Da Shantanu Das, Additional District Public Health Officer (Family Welfare) Da Sunanda Mishra, District Health Mission Manager Anil Kumar Mohanty, District Finance and Equipment Associate Gopabandhu Giri in this meeting. Balaram Behera and other department officials were present. Among others, District Education Officer, District Social and Welfare Officer, all Medical Officers, CDPs and majors were present.
