Baripada – Date: 03/12/2025: At the premises of the Baripada Block Education Office, Murugabadi, the International Day of Persons with Disabilities – 2025, themed “Sambhab”, was observed through the joint collaboration of the Block Education Office and the voluntary organization Sadhana. Participating Chief Guest, inaugurated the programme and shed light on various government benefits and opportunities available for persons with disabilities and students. Joining the celebration as the Chief Guest, Baripada Sub-Collector Dr. Dayasindhu Parida distributed awards to meritorious students. He emphasized the important role of teachers in mainstreaming students with disabilities. As Guests of Honour, Sadhana’s Director Prabhakar Sahu, Additional District Education Officer Gautam Patra, Additional Block Education Officers Tapaswini Dash and Brajmohan Murmu highlighted the need to promote an inclusive society for persons with disabilities to ensure overall social progress. A total of 110 students along with their parents participated in the programme. Various sports competitions were organized for the students.
