Baripada – 26/04/2026 ‘Baripada Expo-2026’ has been inaugurated at Baripada College Grounds to bring together culture, commerce and society. Additional District Magistrate Netranand Mallik was the chief guest, eminent journalist and journalist poet Bishnu Shetpathi was the chief speaker, Bar Association President Jyoti Prakash Rath, editor Biplab was the chief guest. Kumar Barik, Sukeshini Sethi of Ward No. 1, environmentalist Vivekananda Patnaik inaugurated the event with major participation. Social activist Somnath Singh and teacher Gautam Das managed the stage. The main objective of the fair is to give a new identity to the art, culture, small industries and businesses of the district and outside Baripada through this mega expo. Gautam Ray, one of the organizers, said that about 60 stalls of various kinds from the district and outside the district were displayed in the fair.
