Nilpurg Dayal, Jinesh Shovasundar, Dinesh Shovasundar, Sandeep Naik, Shakti Naik, Feroz Dayal, Rajshekhar Naik, Leelu Mallik, Yashveer Mandal, Sahil Kumar Pradhan, Raja Sabyar Singh and Panchanda Sabyar Singh participated in the competition from the district. Mr. Karthik Nayak Kandhamal, sports teacher of Raikia Vijay High School is leading the team as manager less coach. Honorable Secretary of Odisha Basketball Association Ashish Kumar Sahu, Secretary of Odisha Olympic Association Cuttack Paul Sir and Secretary of Kandhamal District Athletics Association Mr. Shiv Prasad Tripathi and other dignitaries were present in the program organized on this occasion. Sports lovers expressed their hope that the participation of the players will increase the interest in basketball in the district and the officials of the sports department praised Odisha Chief Minister Shri Mohan Charan Majhi and Sports Minister Suryaswhi Suraj for the organization being very smooth and successful.
