
Malkangiri, 4/5/26: Under the chairmanship of Malkangari District Magistrate Arvind Rajashirke, a district level grievance hearing camp was successfully held today at Lugel Gram Panchayat of Kalimela Block. All the departmental officers of the district were present in the program and directly listened to the various problems and complaints of the public and emphasized on solving them. A total of 61 complaints were registered in the camp, including 39 individual and 22 village-based communal issues. Mainly, people complained about housing schemes, old age and disabled allowances, new ration cards, land lease issues and improvement of drinking water and roads in villages. Along with hearing the grievances, a special service delivery camp was also organized in the camp premises to provide immediate government services to the people. Through this camp, the services of various departments were made available at one place, so that people did not have to run to government offices frequently. In this regard, public hearing camps were also held today in Similibanchha, Kamwada, Baddural, Andrapalli, Padmagiri and Ambaguda panchayats under the guidance of District Collector. The administration has informed that the main objective of this campaign is to bring the administration closer to the people and solve the problem.
