Kandhamal/Firingia: 02/04/2026 Asbestos in the school was blown away due to the last few days, students are facing problems because there is no place to sit. Such a sad scene is seen in the government primary school in Masharaganda of Kashinipad panchayat under Firingia block of Kandhamal district. Asbestos of the school was completely blown away in the storm, some of the essential paper and MDM rice in the school were damaged and there was no line. In the school, due to the blown asbestos, lessons were interrupted. About 29 students from the first to fifth grade are studying in an old room in the school. In addition, the office of the school is also running in the same room. On asking about the incident, the principal of the school, Bintu Dayal, said that he had reported the incident in writing to the Gosti Education Officer through the staff.
