Nuapada: On the occasion of World Environment Day, a massive awareness and tree planting program was organized by Khariar Road notified area council at M.C.C. and MRF. Park, Jongk Shanti Garden. On this occasion, Khariar Road District Council Chairman. Sonia Jain, Executive Officer Kamlasan Rath along with officers and staff of various departments were joined by members of many social organizations. The program created awareness about the importance of environmental protection, cleanliness and greening. The guests called for planting more and more trees and taking care of them to maintain the ecological balance. On this occasion, messages related to tree plantation program and environmental protection were given. All of them took the decision to create a green, clean and healthy environment. The initiative was aimed at increasing environmental awareness in the local area and also sent a message to the public about environmental protection
