Baripada (31/05): In a tribal dominated district like Mayurbhanj, with the aim of achieving 100% success rate in the 10th class board examination and also passing more number of students in A1 grade, the current popular district leader’s mental training program “Medhabi Mayurbhanj” has been started from the academic year 2024-25. In this year 2026, 146 students have passed A1 grade. The success rate of our district is 97.52 percent. 675 students in A2 grade, in this context Shriman Parthasarathy Mahanth, a student of Saraswati Children’s Vidyamandir, Baripada-II, secured 98% marks and became the state topper, bringing pride and glory to the district which will later inspire other children. In this context, a district level promotion ceremony named “Medhabi Mayurbhanj” has been celebrated at Shaheed Smrit Bhawan Baripada on behalf of the district administration and district education office. All the successful students in A1 grade were felicitated with medals, certificates, books and bouquets by the guests. Parents of Katie students, teachers of all the schools under study, all group education officers were prominently present. The said ceremony was conducted under the chairmanship of Mr. District Collector Mr. Hemkant Sai. In his speech, he told the children and parents that for higher education, coaching centers will be set up in different blocks of the district and education will be provided free of cost to the children. Dr. Krishnachandra Mahapatra, Hon’ble Minister, Housing and Urban Development Department, Government of Odisha as Chief Guest, Chief Speaker Mr. Ganesh Ram Singh Khuntia, Hon’ble Minister of Environment and Forests Department, Government of Odisha, Mr. Nava Charan Majhi, Hon’ble Lok Sabha MP, Mayurbhanj and Ms. Bharti Hasada, Hon’ble District Council Chairman, Mayurbhanj as special guest, Mr. Bhaskar Chandra Dhei, District Planning Board Chairman and Mr. Honorable MLA Udala, Mr. Bhadav Hasada, Honorable MLA Sarasakana, all the guests wished the children a bright future in their speech.
