Nuapada: A legal awareness camp on Prevention of Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace Act, Scheduled Castes and Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act and Shashi alias Shahi Chikna Vivekananda Yumani v. State of Maharashtra (SLP 12690/2025) has been organized at Panchayat High School, Mundapala, under the auspices of the District Legal Services Authority. In the said camp, District Legal Services Authority Secretary Nabanita Das, Lakhna Police Station Officer-in-Charge Ranjan Kumar Naik, CRCC. Lakhna Sudhir Nand, Mundapala Sarpanch Rajni Majhi, PEO Lalitha Kumar Sahu, Principal of the school Tapan Kumar Uhidhar, school teachers, students and the authority’s rights friend Azim Alli were prominent participants. On this occasion, District Legal Services Authority Secretary Navnita Das gave a detailed presentation on Prevention of Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace Act, Scheduled Castes and Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act and Shashi or Shahi Chikana Vivekananda. At the end of the program, a plastic waste cleaning campaign was organized in Mundapalla village and around 12 kg of plastic waste was cleaned.
