International Labor Day has been celebrated in Dumerpani High School under the auspices of the District Legal Services Authority. Chief Judicial Magistrate Sushant Kumar Mishra, Senior Civil Judge Durbasa Durga, District Legal Services Authority Secretary Nabanita Dash, District Labor Officer Jasmin Sahu, Odisha Livelihood Mission District Coordinator Priyadharini Joshi, Advocate General Prakash Patna, Public Prosecutor Trilokchand Soni, Dumerpani Gram Panchayat Sarpanch Tekram Sahu, Labor Force Saumya Ranjan Kumar and Juraj Mitra participated. The speakers present on the occasion briefed the audience about the legal aid scheme for unorganized workers, New Wage Code 2019, Minimum Wages Act, Artisan Disputes Act, Bonded Labor Prevention Act, Worker Identity Card, various schemes for workers by the Central and State Governments. Navnita Das, Secretary of the District Legal Services Authority, delivered the vote of thanks.
