*District-level Odisha Day celebrated* Malkangiri, 1/4/26: District-level Odisha Day was celebrated in a grand ceremony in the premises of the old District Collector’s office. On this glorious occasion, District Magistrate Nadash Arvind Rajashirke joined as the chief guest and inaugurated the program. In the beginning, the District Governor and other guests paid their respects by placing garlands on the statue of Karndhar and groomsmen of Odisha formation. On this occasion, the District Collector said, this holy soil of Odisha is the playground of Lord Srijagannath, which has the unique ability to embrace everyone in its vast heart. The elegance and excellence of the Ordhya language is unique. District Governor Prathimamanth called upon the students to put aside their personal interests and be determined to serve and improve the motherland. Additional District Administrator Somnath Pradhan, Additional District Administrator Rajsava Vedbar Pradhan, Chief Development Officer and Executive Officer Dasharthi Sarabu, Deputy District Administrator Duryodhan Bhoi, District Education Officer Chittaranjan Manigarahi and MP representative Sanjay Sarkar were present as guests of honour. In their speech, the guests said that it is the duty of every Odian to maintain the independence of Odisha as the first state formed on the basis of language. We have to work together to build the Odisha of their dreams. Especially the youth must be determined to protect the art, culture and language of Odisha. On this occasion, an interesting cultural program was presented by the students of the school. The students who achieved success in various competitions were felicitated by the chief guest. The program was attended by the members of the Uttar Pradesh Conference in large numbers. Departmental staff Harekrishna Kirinaria and Ranjan Mohanty played a major role in making this program a success.
