Baripada – 10/04/2026 3-day Mamed Beeuri Festival organized by Durya-Saraswati Cultural Council and Fine Artist Club Anukuli at Rich Local Martyrs Memorial Hall – 2026 has been launched. On the last evening, Kakoli Nandi and Krishna Das acted in the play “Marichikar Chai” written and directed by Kshirod Sit. At the beginning of the play, chief coordinator of the council, Kshirod Bihari Sit presided over the opening ceremony. Retired administrative officer and eminent dramatist Harish Chandra Behera, former chairperson Dr. Pushpa Bhagar, Prof. Ursha Behera, actor director Ananda Shankar Das, Rajesh Das and Gokul Chandra Das, children’s dramatist E. Manoj Kumar Dalbehera, Lyricist and Lecturer President Sunil Kumar Jena and Ravi Chowpatnaik joined the majors in praising the organizers for planning the Maeda Meeori festival and wished it success in the coming days. On this occasion, eminent dramatist Harish Chandra Behera for his contribution in the field of drama and Sudmayi Das and Kaberidha Mishra for their contribution in the field of literature were honored with “Shrikanth Dey Memorial”. I Kuni Odissi Artist Nayanika Mohanty was felicitated with special award I Somnath Singh and Guram Sit conducted the stage I Ma Tutsi Kudamali Dance Team during Jhumar Dance Trophies from Anirudh Jena and Certificates from the Institute were presented to all the drama directors and artistes at the hands of Anil Kumar Pradhan, Editor of Saukhin Artist Club and Savita Sit, Vice President of Durya Sahitya Sanskar Parishad. At the end the chief organizer Mr. Sit thanked everyone for the success of the festival
