Baripada – Date:-23/05/2026 6th Annual Theater Festival is going to be held for 6 days from 1st to 6th of June next month at the local Martyr’s Memorial Hall in favor of Rich Baripada artist family. On the 1st evening “Muthai Mati” written by Dr. Basant Kumar Mohapatra and directed by Dhir Basha, on the 2nd evening written by Kshirod Bihari Sit and directed by Guhiram Jena. “Nispatti”, 3rd evening “Chakrabyuh” written and directed by Dr Kumarmani Naik, 4th evening “Goitha Baba” written by Ranjit Patnaik and directed by Ananda Shankar Das, 5th evening “Middle Class” written by Somnath Sahu and directed by Mahesh Sahu (Tapubaba) and last evening written by Dr. Panchanan Pange and directed by Dr. Prakash Chandra Das The family editor Asit Kumar Giri informed that the play “Nir’s address” will be presented. On this occasion, in the last preparatory meeting held under the chairmanship of the president of the Baripada artist family, Satish Mohanty, all the directors, co-editor Wisnanranjan Panda, family members and artists were present and expressed their opinion for the success of the festival.
