From Nuapada: 79 beneficiaries of Kendulaya Todali of Khadiayal Kendu Pada Division were given two lakh rupees each from social welfare scheme in the premises of Tarbod range office. PCC Mrs. Uma Nanduri Devi was the chief guest, CCF Balangir Circle Mr. Ranjit Mallick, Khadiyal Kendusalay DF and Mrs. A. Madhavi Lata Devi, District Skill Development Officer Lakra Babu, Khadiyal SBI Chief Manager Mr. Dinesh Mishra Kumar, Odisha Kendusalay Employees Union State Secretary Mr. Yadumani Munigra. He joined as the guest of honor and distributed a check of Rs.2 lakh each to eight of the beneficiaries and DBT to all others. Happily for the district, a skill development center has been prepared in Tarbod under the joint support of Kendusalay Department and Skill Development Department, where matric pass and non-matric pass children aged eighteen to thirty five years can choose their own career path by taking various vocational training. Tarbod has repurposed two disused warehouses and constructed classrooms, dining halls, kitchens, toilets, etc. in which the course will start in a few days. All the arrangements were seen by officials and guests. The Chief Manager distributed one blanket to all 79 beneficiaries from Corporate Responsibility Fund on behalf of State Bank.
