
Nabarangpur, (Ranjit Naik) Date: 30.10.2025 Re: At 11:00 am in Nabarangpur Ashok Mehta Conference Room, a one-day training program on “Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act 2005” has been organized! In this program, District Magistrate Maheshwar Swaika, Chief Development Officer District Council Bir Narayan Darwan, Deputy District Magistrate Prakash Kumar Mishra, Dist. Social Welfare Officer Draupudi Kaher, DIPr and Manoj Behera, DW and Rabindra Palka were present! Ms. Kishori Patnaik (Sakhi) joined the One Stop Center and provided training to women under the Domestic Violence Protection Act 2005. And how to take action against the oppressors, as well as how to appeal to security officers, service providers, police and magistrates, and how to get help! The meeting expressed the opinion to prevent child marriage, child abuse, and violence against women from the police department, 4 police officers from 10 blocks One Child Development Project Officer, 3 workers of “Sakhi”, 4 workers of 2 Shakti Sadan, all the workers of District Women Empowerment, “Ava” Sanstha, Medical Officer, Child Marriage Prevention “Savha” all participated as trainees! He advised them to set an example for others by punishing the police and to stop child marriage, domestic violence, etc. by giving thanks at the end of the program.
