Malkangiri, 11/11 In order to prevent online and cyber fraud and stay safe, a cyber security campaign has been organized in Padmagiri Panchayat by Malkangiri Adamas Thana. Malkangiri District Police Department Malkangiri Adams Police Station in collaboration with Malkangiri Block, Chhattisgarh Border Padmagiri Panchayat Basasahi Playground in Malkangiri block, SDPO Dibyranjan Dallei participated in the program as the chief guest and first launched the cyber security awareness program near Padmagiri High School. A huge awareness procession went around Padmagiri Bazar village and a huge awareness was held at Basasahi Playground. The meeting was organized. In the meeting presided over by Malkangari police station officer Regan Kindo, SDPO Divya Ranjan Dallei was the chief guest, social worker Ratnakar Das was the chief speaker, Gauri Madiami, block chairperson, former district council chairman Dasarath Madiami, former block chairman Akshay Naik, tribal leader Krishna Chandra Madkami, district council member Kuni Hiruiya, MLA representative Ashok Baidya were the guests of honour. Cyber criminals use digital platform, WhatsApp, Instagram, email and mobile phone, internet to steal money from bank deposit account, they show all kinds of lures, your account is closed, ATM is damaged, locked draw prize on phone number, cheats with various lures, with many lures, if you get a call from the said number, remember the number and report it to the police immediately. It was warned that the police will take action, not to send instant messages or replies. A play on cyber fraud was staged by school students and artists from Aoma Gurukul. Various cultural programs were organized by the students of the school. Hundreds of local intellectuals, public and parents were also present in the awareness procession and programme.
