Mumbai, 30.9: The Indian cricket team has returned to India after winning the Asia Cup 2025 trophy. The players received a grand welcome at the airport. A large number of fans gathered to welcome Tilak Burma. Tilak played a match-winning innings of 69 in the final, even after India lost three key wickets of Abhishek Sharma, Shubman Gill and Suryakumar Jacob for 20 runs. However, the players did not bring the trophy, as ACC President Mohsin Naqvi did a small deed and took the trophy with him after the final victory. Tilak Burma, who returned to Hyderabad, received a warm welcome at the airport. In a video, it is seen that a large number of fans gathered at the airport. Tilak did not disappoint the fans, coming out from the sunroof of his car to welcome them. Tilak won the player of the match award in the final against Pakistan. Tilak scored an unbeaten 69 off 63 balls, which included four sixes and three fours. In the Asia Cup 2025 final, Suryakumar Jacob won the toss and elected to bowl first. Pakistan set a target of 147 runs for India, chasing which India lost three wickets for just 20 runs. Tilak Burma then put on a 57-run partnership with Sanju Samson and then a 60-run partnership with Shivam Dubey. Singh hit a winning shot off the fourth ball of the last over and India beat Pakistan by five wickets to win the title. This is Team India’s ninth Asia Cup title.
