Jharsuguda District:-29/09/25 (Fast News Odisha) Sharadiya festival organized by the villagers at Samasingha under Kolabira block has reached 44 years, this year the Sharadiya festival of Goddess Durga will be celebrated in a unique style. The committee has decided to observe it in a spirit of devotion. Unlike other years, extensive preparations are underway to celebrate it with decorum, purity and peace in a devotional-friendly environment without sophisticated song and dance programs. Changing the previous pattern, spiritual and devotional cultural programs will be performed according to Vedic rituals. Periodically, Ma’s Marsal Aalti, Mahasnan, Peetha Pooja, Parshva Deke Devi, Mukhya Devi Sixteen Upachar Pooja, Chandipath, Hom, Maha Alati, Lamham Alati, Sandhipuja, Chandihom, Aparajita Pooja will be performed. Acharya Kshirod Chandra Pujari will edit Maa’s devotional works. His two associates Ashish Pujari and Ankush Manigarahi will assist him.
Various schools, colleges, colleges, various clubs and groups, social spiritual country and Matri Bandana, Odishi, Dashabtar, folk culture, folk song, traditional dance song, social message will be held in this cultural program.
