Malkangiri, 12/11/2025, a few days ago, Malkangiri District Bahujan Samaj Party organized a press conference in Malkangiri against the District Council Chairman by saying fake tribalism. In the press conference, district BSP president Jarashbar Madi district council chairman’s father Khagpati Tangul showed a certified copy of the settlement deed as Caste-Katiya (General) in Serial No. 63/41 of Badpada village and Mauza Khatiyaan under Chittarakonda Tehsil. Therefore, a representative group led by Jarashbar Pata met the District Magistrate today and filed a written complaint to cancel the post of Samari Tangulu immediately and file a criminal case against him. He sent a copy of the said complaint to the Deputy District Magistrate, Malkangari, District Security Officer, Malkangari, State Election Commission, Odisha, Odisha State Tribal Commission, Chief Secretary of Odisha Panchayatiraj Department, Chief Election Commission, State Election Commission, Odisha, Chief Secretary, Odisha, His Excellency the Governor, Odisha, His Excellency the President, Tribal Affairs Ministry of Government of India, Tribal Commission of Government of India and authorized police station officer, Malkangiri, to immediately investigate the incident and Appropriate action is requested. During the presentation of the complaint letter to the District Magistrate, Sanatan Kawasi, Sushant Beti, Unga Padhiami, Jagga Padhiami, Ganesh Madkami, Ramesh Padhiami and Lakma Madkami major tribal communities including Jarashbar Pa were present.
