Jharsuguda District:- 29/09/25 (Fast News Odisha) Education Office, Jharsuguda Anukuliya in collaboration with Silt Bhubaneswar and Azim Premji University, Bangalore in KG under Kolabira Block. A five-day English language training program for the professional development of high school teachers has been introduced at Girls’ High School, Samasingha. In the inaugural function, Scindra Patel, Headmaster of PM Sri High School, Belpahard and in-charge of the training camp’s supervisor attended as the chief guest and spoke about the role of English language in professional development. Principal of the local school, Nirmal Chand conducted the stage and delivered the welcome speech, while Kush Sa, the instrumentalist, thanked everyone. The training was conducted here for five days. To meet the professional development goals of the teachers, they were trained in the use of English language through dramatization, role play, story telling, group discussion, etc. About fifty teachers and students from Sambalpur, Sundergarh and Jharsuguda districts participated in this program. On this occasion K.G. A cultural program was performed by the students of Girls High School. For its successful implementation, teachers Ashok Kumar Sahu, Manoj Menduli, Vijayalakshmi Naik, Patachandra Sahu, Savita Mahant, Vijaya Shankar Sahu, Deviprasad Biswajit Pote and Kush Sahu were engaged as instrumentalists by SILT, Bhubaneswar. In this regard, Jharsuguda District Education Officer Dr. Radhakant Gartiya congratulated and congratulated the trained teachers and students. However, the second phase of the training program will be held in the last week of this coming month.
