Mayurbhanj: The 37th Annual Meeting of District Ex-Servicemen’s Association has been held at its office of Federation at Ward No.-26, Bhudakatta, Baripada. There are about five branches from Udla, Khunta, Sharat, Thakur Munda, Betanti, Jharpokharia, Yashipur, Baripada, Chitrada, Rairangpur, Shulepada, Rasgobindpur, Badsahi branches of the district. More than hundred veterans, veterans, widows, and their families participated in the gathering. In this gathering, Mr. Rabindra Mahanth, Account Manager of the federation gave information about the previous year’s income/expenditure account of the Federation and the schedule for the next year. For the welfare of all the ex-servicemen and their families of the district, how can the district military board, canteen, ECHS be established as soon as possible, the chairman of the federation, Col. Dr. Ashok Kumar Das gave the pledge and then the Secretary of Federation Mr. God Mahanath requested all the veterans of Binari, Birmata, District to join the Federation. Ladies Club President Ms. Jarapani Das, Editor Ms. Aruna Dwivedi led a cultural program. Under the leadership of Sahadharmini Jemamani Mahanth, the world famous dance was performed. The presidents and editors of each zone of Mayurbhanj District were present in the said gathering.
