Kandhamal, (Fast News Odisha): Himanshu Shekhar Das (Tutu Das) (57), a prominent businessman and manager of Patkhanda Institute in Baliguda area of Kandhamal district, was undergoing treatment at a medical center in Cuttack on Thursday. All the shops were closed on Friday. He was well known as the fifth son of the late Hadhubandhu Das, who ran Khali Das & Sons, a well-known businessman in the entire southern region. He was a well-known social worker and pious person. On hearing the news of his death, all his friends and relatives, members of various institutions, workers and many intellectuals were present and prayed for his immortal soul and prayed for patience and courage to the bereaved family. His mortal remains were brought to his Baliguda residence and cremated at a nearby cemetery.
