Baripada, 14/11/25 – Children’s Day celebrations were celebrated in grand style at Maharshi Public School, Baghdarod. Mr. Sudarshan Panda, a renowned educationist of Baripada and Mayurbhanj, former high school principal and block education officer, attended the program under the supervision of school chairman Mrs. Kajal Kanti. In the prayer meeting, the children felicitated the guests with sandalwood flowers and flower baskets. Later, Mr. Panda highlighted Nehru’s love for children and explained to the child the depth of the words “If a child reads, the nation will grow”. The entire courtyard was chanted with the slogan “Child’s uncle Nehru lives”. One of the highlights of the program was the children’s soul dance, music, mana act, fancy dress and food stall competition. Guest Mr. Panda watched all the performances for a long time and rated them. Enthusiastic participation of the children added to the festivity. The guest praised the song/lyrics of the school “Aas Paheeriba Aji Chiddha Day” written by Kara Sar. Finally, on behalf of the school, Mr. Kara Sar thanked all the guests and parents and announced the end of the program. All the teachers, students and staff of the school contributed to the success of this program.
